Day 2 Films; Summertime - the Sundance hit film by director Carlos López Estrada (Blindspotting) who takes a page from Hamilton and weaves spoken-word performance into a celebration of what it means to live in LA. The film is followed by a live spoken-word performance. Human Flow by Chinese artist/activist and filmmaker Ai Weiwei’s takes audiences on an epic film journey exploring human migration and the staggering scale of the global refugee crisis. This year's Master Class focuses on acting with award-winning Casting Director, Ron Leach as he discusses casting for some of the biggest films in Hollywood, and shares advice on getting the perfect role. Short Term 12, is Director Destin Daniel Cretton's (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) unflinching look at the challenges and triumphs of social workers in a foster care home with Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) and Ramie Malick (Bohemian Rhapsody) in their breakout roles. Short films include; Playing for Change featuring Robbie Robertson and Ringo Starr, and the NFB's Academy Award nominated film Hardwood, about Hubert Davis, the son of former Harlem Globetrotter Mel Davis and his relationship with his Father.
