About 585area

585area started years ago as part of a group of area code directories. That version filled up with out of town listings and went offline. This one is rebuilt for the Rochester area only.

The rules we list by

A business needs a working phone number and a public listing in one of our four towns. Closed businesses come off. We do not post star ratings or review counts, only what the listing itself says and the phrases reviewers use most.
